DUhatch connects enterprising students with mentors from faculty and industry, giving them office space, and facilitating business development to help solve the myriad problems a fledgling venture faces.

Partners

Two types of partners are involved in DUHatch.

Internal Partners

These are other organizations within Duke and include Duke's CERC (Center for Entrepreneurship & Research Commercialization), Fuqua's  CEI (Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Fuqua), DSV (Duke Student Ventures), OLV (Office of Licensing and Ventures), and the Sanford Institute’s Hart Leadership Program.  These groups provide experienced advisors, interested students, educational opportunities and venture funding to the DUHatch incubator.

External Partners

There are multiple opportunities to become a DUhatch partner via direct financial support or involvement in the various activities detailed above (e.g., EntreMentoring).
